Welcome to Geothermal Home Living
Get all the benefits of geothermal energy with no upfront costs
Why Homeowners Love Geothermal
No Unsightly and Noisy Outdoor Equipment - Free up space & eliminate noise
Geothermal systems do not use outdoor air conditioner equipment, so this space is now available for use and you no longer have the unsightliness of air conditioning equipment and the annoying noise …you won’t hear your neighbor’s air conditioner either!
No upfront cost
Geothermal heat exchange can be very costly to install, particularly if installed after the home is built, which also requires extensive digging. With Orca, there is no upfront cost for the outdoor geothermal system and we install it when the home is built. This means that you get all of the benefits of geothermal the day you move in without any increased cost to your home.
Years of experience
Orca and its parent company, GeoTility have been designing, installing and operating geothermal systems for over 30 years. You can be assured that there is nothing that we have not seen or dealt with. Our decades of experience have made us the most experienced and very best in the geothermal industry.
Increase the value of your homes and buildings
Homes with geothermal heating and cooling systems have been proven to be worth more than those with traditional systems.
Lower long term costs
Geothermal systems have fewer pieces of equipment compared to traditional heating and cooling systems. A geothermal heat pump typically lasts 25 years. This means lower maintenance costs and lower replacement expenses. In addition, Orca locks in your monthly fees, which saves you from rising costs in energy.
Good for the Environment – Good for You
Geothermal systems make use of the largest natural resources available – the earth’s constant temperature. This greatly reduces the amount of energy required for heating and cooling. The EPA calls geothermal the most energy-efficient and environmentally clean systems for heating and cooling.
Geothermal completely eliminates the burning of fossil fuels for heating, which allows you to reduce your carbon footprint as well as improve your air quality and eliminate other dangers of burning fuels within your house.
Geothermal systems are the most environmentally friendly way to heat and cool homes and buildings. Orca allows you to take advantage one of the greatest sustainable energy resources available; the natural thermal properties of our earth.

What Homeowners Are Saying
Susan P.
“We love not having to burn fossil fuel to heat our home. “
-Fulton, MD
Craig J.
“With geothermal, the temperature of our house is far more comfortable and simply maintains a constant temperature. It is cooler in the summer and much warmer in the winter.”
-Chattahoochee Hills, GA
Eric B.
“What I notice about the geothermal system is that it runs much quieter. There is no firing up of the gas burner and blower for heating and no noisy outdoor fan for air conditioning.”
-Vernon, BC
Kristin W.
“Orca made is very simple to add geothermal to our home. It did not add any additional cost to the home and we simply pay a monthly bill for cooling, heating and hot water.”
Richmond, BC
Nick P.
“Orca’s geothermal system allows us to get the maximum use of our outdoor living area and not have the annoying noise of an outdoor air conditioning unit. We use our outdoor living area all the time and the air conditioning unit would have been right in this area.”
-Victoria, BC
Kris C.
“We no longer worry about the possible effects of burning gas and dangers of carbon monoxide.”
-Colwood, Vancouver Island, BC
Jamie A.
“Our geothermal system runs on power from our solar panels, which gives us a completely independent, self-contained system for heating and cooling and even hot water.”
-Kelowna, BC
Travis D.
“We love using geothermal to Heat and cool our home as it decreases our carbon footprint and makes our house more sustainable. With Orca, we were able to get geothermal with no additional cost to the house. This was an important feature for us to have with a new home.”

What is Geothermal Heating & Cooling
Geothermal systems are a reliable, proven technology for heating and cooling, having been used for over 50 years in the U.S. and around the world. In countries like Sweden and others, over 75% of new homes include geothermal systems. Using geothermal to control temperature of living spaces dates back to cave dwelling and was even used in Roman architecture. The way that a geothermal system works is quite simple. The temperature a few feet below the earth’s surface is a constant 50 - 60 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the entire year, in every climate zone. This earth’s temperature is warmer than the air in the winter and cooler in the summer. A geothermal system simply transfers this heat from the earth into the home or vice versa. In the winter, the earth’s warmer temperature is transferred into homes and buildings to warm them, and in the summer the system transfers the heat from the building back into the ground to cool the building.
